The South Asian Bar Association of Northern California (SABA-NC) was founded to ensure that Bay Area South Asian attorneys are provided an avenue to develop professionally, network among peers, and use their skills to give back to the Bay Area South Asian community.
The mission of the South Asian Bar Association of Northern California is to:
Promote alliances between South Asian legal professionals in Northern California and throughout the nation.
Advocate for the South Asian community.
Support and promote those who value diversity in the legal profession.
Building our pipeline by mentoring law students, and those interested in the law, to succeed in their future practice.
Provide information to members on professional development and the legal market in Northern California.
Provide an avenue for professionals and other community leaders to take an interest in matters of concern to South Asian attorneys.

Attend the annual SABA-NC gala – this highlight event hosted by SABA-NC is exclusive to current SABA-NC members.
Assist SABA-NC in its mission to give back to the Bay Area community. Proceeds raised through our membership dues are used to support SABA-NC’s Foundation in its charitable efforts.
Participate in our mentor-mentee program, available to both law students and attorneys.
Volunteer at pro bono clinics and other opportunities organized by SABA-NC.
