Judicial mentoring project of the East Bay Diversity Bar Coalition and Alameda County Bar Association

The Judicial Mentoring Project (JMP), founded by the Alameda County Bar Association (ACBA) and the East Bay Diversity Bar Coalition (EBDBC), is established to provide attorneys contemplating a career on the bench with a structured method of obtaining guidance about how to reach that goal. Experienced judges will be able to provide valuable feedback and assistance to potential judicial candidates to help them hone the necessary skills for a judicial career.

  • Deadline Extended: The application deadline has been extended to September 15, 2007.

  • Confidentiality: Please note that the ACBA will preserve the privacy, confidentiality and security of the information included in applications submitted. The EBDBC subcommittee that will review applications and match mentors with mentees will be comprised of the EBDBC Co-Chairs and the ACBA Executive Director—Judge Trina Thompson Stanley, Christine Noma and Ann Wassam, respectively.

  • The Handbook: To download a copy of the Judicial Mentoring Project handbook, which includes the mentor and mentee applications, please visit acbanet.org
