We create opportunities for connection, mentorship, professional development, advocacy, and service to the community.
WHO WE ARE
For more than three decades, SABA-NC has created opportunities for judges, attorneys, legal professionals, community leaders, and law students to connect, lead, serve, and support one another.
Our members represent a wide range of practice areas, sectors, and career stages. Together, we work to strengthen the pipeline, elevate diverse voices in the profession, and give back to the communities we serve.
Today, SABA-NC serves as a hub for professional development, mentorship, public service, in-house counsel programming, judicial and public office pipeline work, and community leadership across North America.
OUR MISSION
BUILD COMMUNITY: Promote meaningful alliances among legal professionals in Northern California and across the community.
ADVOCATE: Support issues of concern to our members, the South Asian community, and the broader legal community.
ADVANCE INCLUSION: Support and promote inclusion and belonging in the legal profession.
MENTOR: Build the pipeline by mentoring law students, lawyers, other legal professionals, and others interested in legal careers.
